    Reasons Analysis on Cracking of NSM30 Plastic Die Steel Plates during Sawing

    • Cracks appeared in NSM30 plastic die steel plates during sawing,and the cracking reasons were analyzed by devices such as optical microscopy,SEM,EDS and hardness tester.The results show that the cracking mainly resulted from non-uniform and serious segregation microstructure,much TiN inclusions and discontinuous network carbide in the middle area of the steel plates.In addition,unreasonable sawing process also accelerated the cracking of the steel plates.
